Our Mission
The mission of a Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive
learning environment. It is a place where every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn fosters self-confidence and personal growth.

In a nutshell, CWCT is all about supporting woman to succeed!
Our members are from various cultures and backgrounds: teachers, nurses, life coaches, students, business owners and stay-at-home mums, to name a few.
Our members join for a variety of different reasons. Some are after career advancement, others would like to perfect the art of delivering a highly inspiring special occasions speech and some of our members join just for fun. Yes! Some of us find public speaking fun 🙂
‘I never thought I would ever enjoy getting up and speaking in front of a large audience! It was a personal fear of mine that I can say, with the help of Toastmasters, I have definitely overcome…it’s only taken me over 70 years! I wish I had joined sooner…’ Carol Burrows
